Our organization is Action for a Clean Environment, formed in 1990 to fight - and defeat - the giant incinerator planned for Alto that would have burned garbage from 13 counties. ACE is an all volunteer group. Our purpose is to maintain the purity of our air, water and earth.
We keep files on incinerators, landfills, recycling, pollution, the good and bad. We also have a (paper) newsletter published several times a year. Write or e-mail us and we would be glad to send you a copy. Donations of any amount are gratefully accepted!
